Maurice from Kaiser AI says, “The Linn Akudorik System belies belief in its performance. For such an understated system, the perfection of sound that emanates astounds. For this magnificent system I sought out only the very best and rare in Scotch Whiskys. My choice here had to be extra special to match the Akudoriks and both choices are very limited in numbers.
My first choice is the Port Ellen 35-Year-Old. This bottle was their 14th release of what is now a defunct distillery which makes this an extremely rare find. Only 2964 bottles were produced. The Port Ellen is a nutty and full flavoured Whisky. It has a complex flavour with a dry and smoky finish and is a very sought after drop by Whisky aficionados. Amazingly balanced just like the Linn Akudoriks.
My other choice is Chivas Regal The Icon. This is the pinnacle of the Chivas range and the rarest. It is presented magnificently in a green crystal decanter handmade and etched by Dartington Crystal…alone it is a pure statement piece just like the Akudoriks. It has a full and fruity flavour with a long and luscious sweet finish.
I cannot imagine anything better than sitting back with either of these rare and wonderful Whiskys enjoying the stunning sounds from the Akudorik System”
